Perfectionism Therapy in Provo, Utah

High standards are good. Feeling like nothing is ever enough isn’t, it’s a counterfeit.

Perfectionism can look like success from the outside, but it often comes with constant pressure, harsh self-criticism, and a fear of falling short. At Gumtree Therapy, we help you loosen perfectionism’s grip and build a healthier relationship with your goals, your mistakes, and yourself.

Healing starts with a real session, not a sales call. Book your intake and begin the work.

Is this you?

Maybe you can’t let a task go until it’s flawless, or you put things off for fear of getting them wrong. Perhaps a small mistake replays in your mind for days, or nothing you accomplish ever feels good enough. Many people with perfectionism are also anxious, worn out, or afraid to rest, and that’s exactly what therapy can help with.

How perfectionism therapy helps

The goal isn’t to lower your standards or stop caring about your work. In therapy, we help you understand where the pressure comes from, quiet the inner critic, and practice being kind to yourself when things aren’t perfect. Many people find they can still achieve what matters to them, with far less stress and more room to enjoy it.
